Christmas Tree Mulching

This time of year there are thousands of Christmas trees are headed out the door.  Where they go is up to you...  Are you going to put them on the curb as trash, wasting all of that free energy from the sun and nutrients extracted from the soil?

Of course not, put all of that energy and those nutrients back into the lifecycle by recycling your Christmas tree!

From December 27th through January 3rd

bring your undecorated tree to the parking lot at Public Works (4337 Edith Street) for mulching on January 3rd. After the mulching, residents are welcome to take some pine mulch home for their gardens. Bring your own containers!
