Newspaper and advertising inserts, blank newsprint paper

Important Notes:

Use Paper Bags - to collect newspaper because it can be recycled with the newspaper

Remove Plastic Delivery Sleeves - because plastic is a contaminant for newspaper

Recycling Options:

  • Area Curbside Recycling Programs - Bellaire, West University Place, and many parts of Houston have them.

  • Surrounding Recycling Centers - Bellaire Recycling Center (on Edith), West University's RecycleXpress (on Dincans off Westpark), and the Houston Consumer Recycling Center (on Westpark near Fountain View).

  • Local Collection Points - Many area companies and institutions collect newspapers to raise funds to support local programs and causes. Below is a list of those we know about (please suggest ones to add if you encounter them).

    • Southwest News Offices (5160 Spruce, Bellaire) - They also we recycle your other paper waste like magazines, junk mail, office paper, etc.
