Batteries
Rechargeable
batteries are NOT accepted at the
Debbie Marshall Recycling Center. These batteries are NOT
the common alkaline batteries we have grown up with. The
most common are labeled NiCd (Nickel Cadmium) LiO (Lithium
Oxide, and Ni-MH (Nickel Metal Hydride). These batteries
are dangerous for the environment and need to be recycled or
disposed of properly.
